The Hippie culture dates back to the 60’s which also gave rise to the word ‘the flower movement’ where some free soul people and wanderers moved around the world without any worldly attachments started a new Revolutionary Era called the Hippie Revolution and how it still exists in this fast world of social media. So, what does one do if you want to experience this kind of life, well, it’s very simple travel the world and see the ‘Hippie destinations’
El Bolson is the place where the Hippies started their movement in the 1970’s and till today is their most favourite place. Nestled between mountain ranges, El Bolson is a tiny village with lush greenery and farms and which attracts hippies all round the world. Remember the 60’s and apart from the civil war, the other thing that comes to one’s mind is the Hippie movement which started in Guatemala among the peace and spiritualism of the country which most people came to seek. Panajachel in Guatemala has many hippie travellers thronging this town which has big marketplaces that loudly and clearly shout the Boho culture and makes the city exquisite and unique.

Although the hippie culture has somewhat declined ever since the 60’s, some places on Planet Earth still want to preserve it and show the world what living freely, without inhibitions means.
